Pay-As-You-Go, Payment Methods and Refunds

To optimize summer enrollment opportunities for all students, summer term registration will use a “pay-as-you-go” system to ensure seats are kept open for students who need them.

  • Payment for all summer enrollments is due in full by the end-of-business1 on the same day as registered.  Unpaid fees may result in some or all classes being dropped.
  • Fees for enrollments made during the weekends are due in full by the end-of-business1 on the following Monday.
  • Students who enroll on a waitlist must monitor their UCR email and the "Summer Fees" screen on GROWL daily for notification of being added. If added from a waitlist, all fees are due in full by the end-of-business1 on the day added, or the following Monday if added on a weekend.
  • Once you have enrolled in class(es), you MUST proceed to the 'Summer Fees' screen on GROWL for payment instructions to complete your enrollment. Failure to complete the payment instructions in the "Summer Fees" screen may result in some or all of your classes being dropped.
  • Students who have outstanding fees before the beginning of the Summer term will need to pay off those charges before payment can be applied towards Summer fees.
  • Students who are receiving financial aid should read our Financial Aid page for more information about payment deadlines.

Enrollment transactions (changing, switching or adding a primary section--e.g. lecture) conducted on or after June 15th for any given session will be subject to a non-refundable Late Enrollment Fee of $50.
