How to Register for Summer Classes through R'Web

All Summer Sessions enrollment takes place online through R'Web. R'Web is a convenient portal designed for students that procides access to class schedules, enrollment, records, iLearn, R'Mail and much more. UCR students and visiting (non-UCR) students alike will use R'Web to register for courses.

You will need a NetID and a password to log into R'Web, and you will need to be an active student for Summer 2019 to register.

Steps to Register

1. Go to R'Web (http://www.rweb.ucr.edu).

2. Enter your NetID and password.

3. Under the Self-Service section, click on the Registration icon.

4. Select Register for Classes.

5. Under Terms Open for Registration, Select Summer 2018 (available March 1st, 2018).

6. You will now reach the course search page. The next step depends on whether or not you need to search for classes, or if you already know the CRN's (Course Reference Number).

  • If you do not know the CRN's  for the courses you wish to enroll in...

Select the FInd Classes tab to browse through and enroll in courses.

Once you have found a course that you are interested in, click Add. This will add the course to your Summary. You are not enrolled just yet--notice that the Status column says "pending."

When you are ready to enroll, go to the Action column in your summary and select Add from the dropdown box for each class you wish to enroll in. You will then need to select Submit.

    • Please keep in mind that you will need to add all linked sections, such as lectures, discussions, labs, etc., at the same time to complete your registration successfully; otherwise, an error will occur.
    • If you get an error, you will not be able to enroll in the course until you resolve that error. For example, if you get a message that says the courses you have attempted to enroll in are in time conflict, you will need to adjust your schedule so that your courses are not in time conflict with each other
    • If you get an error message that says you have not met the prerequisite even though you believe you have:
UCR students: contact your academic advisor for more information
Visiting students: please be sure to check that you have followed the appropriate steps to clear prerequisite requirements

To verify that your registration was successful, check the Status column for each course that you attempted to enroll in. If the status now says Registered, you have successfully enrolled.

  • If you already know the CRN's  for the courses you wish to enroll in...

Select the Enter CRNs tab to bypass the search function and enroll in classes directly.

In the text box, enter the five digit CRN. If you wish to add more than one at a time, click on the link that says +Add Another CRN. After you have finished entering the CRNs, select Add to Summary.

The Summary section should now list your courses. Verify that these are the courses you intended to add. Please note that you are not registered just yet--notice that the status shows pending.

When you are ready to enroll, go to the Action column in your Summary, and select Add from the dropdown box for each class you wish to enroll in. You will then need to select Submit.

    • Please keep in mind that you will need to add all linked sections, such as lectures, discussions, labs, etc., at the same time to complete your registration successfully.; otherwise, an error will occur.
    • If you get an error, you will not be able to enroll in the course until you resolve that error. For example, if you get a message that says the courses you have attempted to enroll in are in time conflict, you will need to adjust your schedule so that your courses are not in time conflict with each other.
