UC Riverside is a Great Place to Be for the Summer
UC Riverside's Summer Sessions is not your ordinary summer school. We combine over 350 available courses - including many high-demand classes - with a relaxed campus atmosphere and a convenient class schedule. Review a pdf of our 2009 Catalog and start planning your next summer! You can also request to receive the 2010 catalog in the mail (available March 2010). UCR students will receive a catalog automatically.
Why attend UCR's Summer Sessions?
- Learn in a relaxed, fun atmosphere
- Get ahead by taking pre-requisite or intensive classes
- Smaller class size means more opportunity for interaction with faculty
- UCR's two five-week sessions help you get through the class in half the time of a traditional 10-week quarter
- Classes are identical in focus and content to those taught in the rest of the year and units are transferable to most four-year universities, including all UC's.
- Financial Aid is available to continuing UCR students
Enrolling is as easy as 1, 2, 3...
- Submit the Application Form to receive your UCR Student ID and Permanent Pin (skip this step if you are a current UCR student)
- Choose your courses and gather the five digit call numbers
- Enroll on GROWL (UCR's online enrollment system)
- Pay in full by the deadline (June 9, by 4pm)
Who can attend UCR's Summer Sessions?
- UCR students, including incoming Freshmen
- UC students from other campuses
- Visiting students from another college or university, including high school graduates
- International students
- High school students entering grades 10-12 in 2010 (through the Summer Academy)
- UCR staff
- Anyone interested in furthering their education
